I’m easing into 2021 so I thought I won’t bore you with a long email – just a quick bullet list that you can chew on.
- Review of 2020 – you may not even want to do this given what we had to experience collectively. However, not doing a review of the past year guarantees that you’d be missing out on a) the opportunity to experience gratitude/happiness & b) reinforcing your learnings. Have a peek at my post from a year ago on this. If you want to know how a big-wig like Tim Ferriss does his review… check out his post here.
- Word of the year – Love was my word for 2020. Boy, I really needed that. Challenging in more ways than one – learning how unloving I could be and learning how much I haven’t been loving myself. This year… I’ve been mulling over a new word. And I decided on: Stillness – borrowing it from Ryan Holiday’s book, Stillness is the Key (which I enjoyed).
- Vision (Dream) vs. Goals – this is something I picked up from Mel Robbins while listening to her Audible special ‘Start Here’. Keep your vision/big dream to yourself (put it on a vision board or set it up big as a reminder) but continue to share your goals with people (you trust and respect).
I’m not going to share my big vision with you here but my goals for 2021 are to launch the book “Be SEEN” (nearly done…!) and to transfer my entire coaching program online (I’m halfway there!)
Sending you love.
P.S. Incidentally, writing and publishing a book was at one point a vision that I couldn’t share with anyone else (beyond those who asked me to write it) because I didn’t think I could do it. Before anyone else says anything about it, when I started writing I thought that it may or may not happen. The same can be said for my online course development. Good things happen when you just keep plugging away at it.
