Often I feel
it takes super-human power to be resilient and persistent.
Perhaps it doesn’t always have to be that way.
Unassuming and merely continuing even without any certainty might be all I need.
That’s the lesson I learned from an orchid plant that was given to me more than a year ago.
Typically, it would have been thrown away after all of the buds had bloomed.
But it survived winter chills and intermittent watering and started flowering again.
Like the plant, keep doing what you’re doing
getting better, stronger, everyday
And just keep keeping on.
Spring bloom.
Doesn’t have to be a struggle.
